Description

Sharon D Tablet is used for Toothache, Inflammation of joints, Headache, Relief of the pain of osteoarthritis of knees and hands, Lower back pain, Muscles pain and other conditions.

Uses

 Sharon D Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
•    Toothache
•    Inflammation of joints
•    Headache
•    Relief of the pain of osteoarthritis of knees and hands
•    Lower back pain
•    Muscles pain
•    Bones and joints pain
•    Migraine
•    Air cavities around nose
•    Sore throat
•    Ear pain
•    Joint pain
•    Periods pain
•    Fever

 

Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology

Sharon D Tablet improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
•    Blocking the action of enzyme cyclooxygenase, which is required for the biosynthesis of prostaglandins.
•    Helping the body in breakdown of protein.
•    Increasing the pain threshold and increases the blood flow across the skin, heat loss and sweating.

Side-effects

•    Application site dermatitis
•    Application site pruritus
•    Application site erythema
•    Application site paresthesia
•    Application site dryness

Precautions

•    Avoid contact of this drug with eyes
•    Avoid using it if allergic to paracetamol
•    Bleeding disorders
•    Blood pressure should be monitored closely during treatment
•    Breastfeeding
•    Do not take paracetamol if you consume alcoholic beverages every day

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to  Sharon D Tablet is a contraindication. In addition,  Sharon D Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
•    Bleeding disorders
•    Blood coagulation disorders
•    Hepatic impairment
•    History of asthma, urticaria, or other allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
•    Hypersensitivity
•    Hypersensitivity to this drug
