Calcitrol 0.25mcg+ zinc oxide 7.5mg + Magnesium Oxide 7.5 mg
Description
Calcitrol is used for Secondary hyperparathyroidism, Moderate to severe chronic renal failure, Hypocalcemia, Postsurgical hypoparathyroidism, Idiopathic hypoparathyroidism, Pseudohypoparathyroidism and other conditions. Zinc / Magnesium Oxide is used for Diarrhea, Wilson's disease, Acne, Age related vision loss, Anemia, Anorexia and other conditions.
Uses
Calcitrol is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
• Secondary hyperparathyroidism
• Moderate to severe chronic renal failure
• Hypocalcemia
• Postsurgical hypoparathyroidism
• Idiopathic hypoparathyroidism
• Pseudohypoparathyroidism
Zinc / Magnesium Oxide is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
• Diarrhea
• Wilson's disease
• Acne
• Age related vision loss
Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology
Calcitrol improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
• Regulating the absorption of calcium from the gastrointestinal tract and its utilization in the body.
Zinc / Magnesium Oxide improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
• Regulating the intestinal fluid transport, mucosal integrity, immunity, gene expression and oxidative stress.
• Completing the need of magnesium in the body.
Side-effects
The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur in medicines that contain Zinc / Magnesium Oxide/calcitriol. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious.
