Description:

Calcitrol is used for Secondary hyperparathyroidism, Moderate to severe chronic renal failure, Hypocalcemia, Postsurgical hypoparathyroidism, Idiopathic hypoparathyroidism, Pseudohypoparathyroidism and other conditions.  Zinc / Magnesium Oxide is used for Diarrhea, Wilson's disease, Acne, Age related vision loss, Anemia, Anorexia and other conditions.

Composition

Calcitrol 0.25mcg+ zinc oxide 7.5mg + Magnesium Oxide 7.5 mg

Uses

Calcitrol is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

•    Idiopathic hypoparathyroidism
•    Pseudohypoparathyroidism
Zinc / Magnesium Oxide is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
•    Diarrhea
•    Wilson's disease
•    Acne
•    Age related vision loss

Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology

Calcitrol improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
• Regulating the absorption of calcium from the gastrointestinal tract and its utilization in the body.

Zinc / Magnesium Oxide improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
• Regulating the intestinal fluid transport, mucosal integrity, immunity, gene expression and oxidative stress.
• Completing the need of magnesium in the body.

Side-effects

Cholestyramine
Corticosteroids
Digitalis
Ketoconazole
Magnesium
hypercalcemia
hypersensitivity
Hypersensitivity to Zinc / Magnesium Oxide is a contraindication. In addition, Zinc / Magnesium Oxide should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Allergic reactions
Hypersensitivity to Calcitrol is a contraindication. In addition, Calcitrol should not be used if you have the following conditions:
