Description

Lefusic  B is used for Impetigo, Infected dermatitis and spots, Infected cuts and grazes, Skin infections, Wheezing, Shortness of breath and other conditions.

Uses

Lefusic B  is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
•    Impetigo
•    Infected dermatitis and spots
•    Infected cuts and grazes
•    Skin infections
•    Wheezing
•    Shortness of breath

Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology

Lefusic B  improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
•    Blocking production of proteins required for bacterial growth.
•    Making breathing easier by reducing the irritation and swelling of the airways.

Side-effects

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur in medicines that contain Fusidic Acid or Beclomethasone. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.
•    Irritation at site of application
•    Pain
•    Burning
•    Irritation
•    Stinging
•    Skin redness

 

Precautions

Before using lefusic B, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
•    Avoid contact with the eyes
•    Bacterial infection
•    Cataracts
•    Do not use this drug for a long time or in large amounts
•    Fungal infection
•    Glaucoma

•    Azathioprine
•    Cancer chemotherapy
•    Cyclosporine
•    Mifepristone
•    None reported

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Fusidic Acid or  Beclomethasone is a contraindication. In addition, Lefusic B should not be used if you have the following conditions:
•    Allergic reaction to this drug
•    Allergic to any ingredient
•    Asthma attack
