Sulbactum 125/250/500 mg

Description

Ceftriaxone is a broad-spectrum semi-synthetic third-generation cephalosporin with a potent bactericidal activity against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Sulbactam is ß lactamase inhibitor.

Indications

Ceftriaxone & Sulbactam is used for treatment
•        Respiratory tract infection, Urinary tract infection
•        Skin and soft tissue infection, Bone and joint infection.
•        Bacterial Meningitis, Surgical Prophylaxis

Side-Effects

Common adverse drug reactions (ADRs) for the ß-lactam antibiotics include  
• Loose stools or Diarrhea
• Nausea, Vomiting, Skin Reaction
• Headache and Dizziness
• Elevations of SGOT/SGPT

Contraindications

Letraxf-SB is contraindicated in patients with known allergy to penicillins and cephalosporins. Warnings Serious or occasionally fatal anaphylactic reactions have been reported in patients receiving beta-lactam antibiotics. These reactions are more likely to occur in individuals with a history of hypersensitivity reactions to multiple allergens.
