Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology

Cintodac Capsule improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
•    Acting as an agonist at 5HT4 serotonergic receptor, as an antagonist at 5HT2 serotonergic and D2 dopaminergic receptor.
•    Reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach

 

Side-Effects

•    Vomiting
•    Nausea
•    Diarrhea
•    Drowsiness
•    Headache
•    Jaundice

Precautions

•    Be careful before using the medicine if having liver disease and deficiency of vitamin B12
•    Consult your doctor if you have gastrointestinal bleeding, obstruction, perforation, or movement disorder
•    Do not drink alcohol
•    Do not take the medicine if you are allergic to it
•    It may cause movement disorder or prolong heartbeat in elderly patients
•    Risk of cardiac arrhythmias

 

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Cintodac Capsule is a contraindication. In addition, Cintodac Capsule should not be used if you have the following conditions:
•    Atrophic gastritis
•    Broken bone
•    Clostridium difficile bacteria related colitis
•    Hypersensitivity
•    Inadequate vitamin B12
•    Interstitial nephritis
